ABSTRACT

One of the significant formulation issues that arise with several medications, such as ciprofloxacin, is a bitter taste. In contemporary times, the easiest and most effective method is to create tasteless ciprofloxacin complexes using ion exchange resin (Indion 234). After The unbound drug in the filtrate was acid activated and allowed to swell in water after stirring resin and ciprofloxacin (in the right proportion) for a specific period of time. estimated spectrophotometrically, and the drug loading efficiency was determined. The molecular characteristics of pharmaceutical complexes using FT-IR. The study confirms that ciprofloxacin complexes with Indion 234. The effects of the superdisintegrants sodium and crospovidone and starch glycolate on disintegration time, wetting time, and water absorption ratio was investigated.
